No label chromoly steel frame?

High, I just bought a N.O.S. Dawes Lightning road bike from Bike Island. The ad said it's chromoly. But I just got the bike...and no where on the frame does it say chromoly or anything with numbers indicating the steel type. Only indication is "Durafonte". My bathroom scale says the bike weighs 24#...
