Was browsing a seller's listings on eBay and stumbled upon a Simplex SX2 derailleur. I'd never heard of it before. I saw an entry in Velobase (http://www.velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx?ID=812c440c-97fd-4190-b1df-7c5174e07564&Enum=108) with no years attached. I saw nothing in Disraeli Gears...
