Newbie brake question.

I just accidentally got some oil on my vintage lotus front brakes shoes. From what I've read, you can't clean them and they need to be replaced. They are off a Dia Compe G500 caliper. What I'm wondering is do I have to replace the whole shoe or does just the rubber part come out. Here is a photo...
