Racing/Training in the SF Bay area

I have a teammate who is relocating from DC area to SF shortly. She's a CAT3 in road and CX and is interested in joining a new team in SF/Bay area. Any tips/pointers? She'd probably enjoy more structure rather than less structure.

Also, are there any additional places/resources to get a feel...
