clamping over chromed steer tube
if i have a fully chromed threaded fork that i'm gonna use as threaded (it has extra length, not clamping over the threads) is it gonna work OK to clamp a threadless stem over the chrome? should i maybe sand it with fine grit or someething to give it a little grip? logically i feel like it should...
