Moved expansion bolt from 3ttt to Cinelli? Will I die?

I found a nice Cinelli XA stem at a bike swap, and it was missing the expansion plug in the bottom. Another 3ttt stem next to it was missing the clamp bolt. I moved the bolt from the 3ttt to the Cinelli. It seems fine. The length of the insertion was the same or very close. The plug seems to fit...
