Charlottetown 2027 Scotties Tournament of Hearts tickets on sale Jan. 29

A long-awaited return to the Birthplace of Confederation will put a premium on acting quickly when ticket packages for the 2027 Scotties Tournament of Hearts go on sale Thursday, Jan. 29, at 11 a.m. AT.

Being held in Charlottetown for the first time since 2011, the 2027 Scotties is scheduled for Feb. 12-21 at the Eastlink Centre and will crown the Canadian women’s curling champion.

It will be a record fifth opportunity for Charlottetown to host the Scotties, and there was an instant buzz all over Prince Edward Island when the event was announced in June.

Next week, that buzz will surely translate into high demand for ticket packages, and here’s what will be available:

• Full Event Package ($408-$444) — A single ticket to every draw of the 2027 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
• Championship Weekend Package ($216-$240) — A single ticket to every draw from Friday, Feb. 19, to Sunday, Feb. 21.  
• Opening Weekend Package ($108-$132) — A single ticket to every draw from Friday, Feb. 12, to Sunday, Feb. 14. Don’t forget, Feb. 14 is not only Valentine’s Day; it’s also Super Bowl Sunday in 2027! That means the Scotties opening weekend package will include one draw Friday night, three draws Saturday (instead of the traditional two draws), and two draws Sunday (instead of the traditional three draws).
• Weekday Package ($60-$72) — A single ticket to all three draws on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

All ticket packages are subject to standard facility and ticket service fees.

Single-draw tickets will go on sale in October or November after television and draw schedules have been finalized.

We will know the first qualifying team for the 2027 Scotties in just a matter of days, as the winner of the 2026 Scotties, which begins on Friday and concludes on Feb. 1 in Mississauga, Ont., will wear Team Canada colours in 2027 in Charlottetown.
