Fans get early look at Montana’s Trials contenders at 2025 PointsBet Invitational in Calgary
The 2025 PointsBet Invitational, set for Oct. 1-5 at WinSport Event Centre in Calgary, offers fans a one-of-a-kind opportunity to see the best Canadian curling teams in action as they prepare for the biggest stage later this fall.
Every team bound for the 2025 Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials in Halifax, this Nov. 22-30, will be competing in Calgary, joined by three additional entries based on last season’s results: the top Canadian Team Ranking System (CTRS) squad not qualified for the Montana’s Trials, the highest-ranked NextGen Under-27 team on the CTRS, and the 2025 New Holland Canadian Under-20 champions. That means every draw features star power and storylines as teams sharpen their game ahead of their run for gold in Italy, and also one of the biggest cash prizes in the sport.
The new PointsBet Invitational format guarantees fans at least four high-level games from every team. Ten teams of each gender compete in two round-robin pools of five. With the pool winners advancing directly to the men’s and women’s finals on closing day, every game in the round robin matters.
It’s also the perfect time for fans to lock in their tickets.
- Full-Event Packages: $200
- Single-Draw Tickets: $22 for Draws 1-4, $28 for Draws 5-8, and $31 for men’s and women’s finals.
- Youth Tickets: $10 for all draws.
Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more people.
For maximum flexibility, the PointsBet Invitational is a general admission event, meaning fans can move around the venue to follow the matchups they most want to see.
It’s also the last chance for huge savings! Fans can also take advantage of a limited-time BKT World Women’s Curling Championship bundle offer, available until Sept. 15. By purchasing a full-event or championship-weekend package for the 2026 BKT Tires World Women’s Curling Championship in Calgary this March 14-22 (also at WinSport Event Centre), fans can add a PointsBet Invitational pass for only $50 (plus fees), a 75 per cent savings off the regular price.
The men’s and women’s pools feature Canada’s biggest names in the sport:

As was the case in previous PointsBet Invitationals, there will be no extra ends, with tie games through 10 ends decided on a post-game draw-to-the-button. Rather than traditional win-loss round-robin standings, teams will be ranked by points, with three points going to teams that win in regulation, two points to teams that win on the post-game draw, one point to teams that lose on the post-game draw, and no points to teams that lose in regulation.
TSN and RDS2, Curling Canada’s broadcast partners, will televise the event nationwide as part of the Season of Champions.
Tickets are available exclusively through Ticketmaster at curling.ca/tickets. All ticket packages are subject to standard facility and ticket service fees. There is no on-site box office at WinSport prior to the event. All inquiries should be directed to tickets@curling.ca.
