The curling community in Saskatchewan are mourning the loss of longtime coach Barry Fiendell.
Barry was a passionate curler, coach & mentor to young curlers here in our province. He coached many high school teams & youth curlers in the Yorkton area where he lived for 26 years.
Barry also coached numerous years at the Prairieland Curling Camp along with many Junior teams at Provincials in 1994, 2001, 2002 & 2003. Where he led the Steve Laycock team to a World Junior Championship.
Barry was Inducted into the CURLSASK Legends of Curling in 2005. Barry will be dearly missed.
