The Broadway musical Chess has been one of the biggest hits of the season and the Original Broadway Cast Recording is finally going to be released next week.

Lea Michele‘s recording of the classic song “Nobody’s Side” was already released on streaming and now the production has dropped another track in advance of the full album dropping on April 10.

Nicholas Christopher stops the show every night with his Act 1 finale song “Anthem” and now you can listen to the recording.

Chess is a seductive showdown of love, loyalty, and power on a global stage. As two of the greatest chess players in the world compete for something beyond victory, the woman between them is caught in a high-stakes battle of desire and devotion.

The 2025 production features a new book by Emmy Award winner Danny Strong, with music and lyrics by ABBA’s Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus and EGOT winner Tim Rice.

Also starring alongside Lea and Nicholas are Aaron Tveit, Bryce Pinkham, and Hannah Cruz.

Lea recently announced that she’s leaving the show in June and an exciting star has been revealed as her replacement.

Tickets are on sale now through September 13.
