Gambit Rapid Chess Open Tournament, 29 November, 14:00
We are pleased to announce the Gambit Rapid Chess Open, which will take place on Saturday, November 29 at 14:00 at the Gambit Bonnevoie Chess Club.
Tournament Hall Address:
42 Rue Jean-François Gangler, 1613 Bouneweg-Süd, Luxembourg
Time Control:
12 minutes + 3 seconds increment per move
Entry Fee:
- 30 € for players aged 20 and above
- 15 € for players under 20
Prizes:
- Top 3 overall: 300 €, 200 €, 100 €
- Top 3 females: 60 €, 50 €, 40 €
- Best U18, U16, U14, U12, U10, and U8: 50 € each
The prize amounts are guaranteed with a minimum of 50 participants.
Since 80% of the total entry fees will be distributed as prizes, a higher number of participants will proportionally increase the total prize fund.
The final prize fund will be announced by the end of Round 2. Additional prizes, such as rating categories and best veteran, may also be added.
