Adam Amroune at the World Cadet U10 Championship

We are proud of Bonnevoie’s young player, Adam Amroune, who represented Luxembourg at the World Cadet U10 Championship, held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, from September 18 to October 1, 2025. This championship is the official world event for the under-10 age group, organized by the International Chess Federation (FIDE).

Adam started playing chess only a year and a half ago, making this participation a truly remarkable achievement.

Upon his return to Luxembourg, Adam participated in the L’open – OGBLCHESSMASTER 2025 – OGBL, where he landed on place 9 of the final ranking and got the prize for the best U14.
