Magnus Carlsen and Hikaru Nakamura faced off in the Winners’ Bracket Final of the Champions Chess Tour (CCT) Finals, aka Chess.com Classic. This highly anticipated match featured the world’s top two ranked players in a thrilling showdown, with the winner advancing directly to the Grand Final.
Magnus Carlsen won the encounter with a total score 4-2. But the score does not tell the whole story! Carlsen took the lead in game 3, after defeating Nakamura with white.
