All good things must come to an end, FROMily. MGM+ has renewed its underrated horror staple FROM for a fifth and final season ahead of the show's highly anticipated Season 4 premiere.
Dubbed the most-watched series in the platform's history, the sci-fi horror hit centers on an unraveling mystery in a town in middle America that imprisons everyone upon entry. What transpires next is a fight for survival and escape as the mysterious forces permeating the environment threaten the residents' everyday lives.
FROM stars Harold Perrineau as Boyd Stevens, with an ensemble cast including Catalina Sandino Moreno as Tabitha Matthews, Eion Bailey as Jim Matthews, Hannah Cheramy as Julie Matthews, Simon Webster as Ethan Matthews, Ricky He as Kenny, Chloe Van Landschoot as Kristi, Corteon Moore as Ellis, Pegah Ghafoori as Fatima, David Alpay as Jade, Elizabeth Saunders as Donna, Avery Konrad as Sara Myers, Scott McCord as Victor, Nathan D. Simmons as Elgin, Kaelen Ohm as Mari, Angela Moore as Bakta, A.J. Simmons as Randall, Julia Doyle as Sophia, Robert Joy as Henry, and Samantha Brown as Acosta.
The series hails from creator and executive producer John Griffin, with Jeff Pinkner serving as showrunner and Jack Bender directing the bulk of the show's episodes. Griffin, Pinkner, and Bender put out a joint statement regarding FROM's last hurrah:
"We are wildly excited to announce that we've officially begun work on Season 5. Which means we will get the chance to see our story to its conclusion. Which means questions will be answered. Answers will be questioned. And there will surely be a cascade of tears and terrors in between. We are thankful for the support of our friends and partners at MGM+. And we are grateful beyond measure for the mad passion of our entire FROMily. We're excited to share Season 4 with you and hope it whets your appetite for what's to come."
FROM Season 4 premieres on Sunday, April 19, on MGM+. Season 5 will go into production later this year in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with an expected premiere window of 2027.
