Timothée Chalamet's Upcoming Movies After 'Dune: Part Three'
Coming off an unforgettable run with his most recent film Marty Supreme, Timothée Chalamet is arguably the biggest movie star in the world. His most recent projects to date are Marty Supreme (Dec. 2025), A Complete Unknown (Dec. 2024), and Dune: Part Two(Mar. 2024). He was nominated for best leading actor at the Academy Awards the last two years in a row for his roles as ping-pong pro Marty Mauser and music legend Bob Dylan. Chalamet is a three-time Oscar nominee, including for his role as Elio Perlman in the 1980s Italy-set romance, Call Me By Your Name. He was just 20 years old at the time of filming.
Eight months from now, Chalamet's next project, Dune: Part Three, will release in theaters on Dec. 18. In the conclusion of Denis Villeneuve's Dune trilogy, he will reprise his role as lead character Paul Atreides one last time. Fan excitement is through the roof to see the finale of what could be one of the greatest film trilogies of all time.

What do fans of the actor have to look forward to after this year? Chalamet currently has three projects in official development that he is connected to.
- High Side (2027) - Directed by James Mangold, High Side will be a heist thriller starring Chalamet as a former motocross racer who becomes involved in bank robberies. The film is being produced by Paramount and has not started filming yet.
- Wonka 2 (Release TBD) - A sequel to the Chalamet starring Wonka from 2023 has not been officially announced by Warner Bros., but writer/director Paul King has confirmed that he is currently writing the screenplay.
- Playground (Release TBD) - As of March, Chalamet is confirmed to be attached to produce an adaptation of the novel Playground by Richard Powers. The story is set around artificial intelligence and is being developed by Warner Bros. If he will star is unknown.
The New York-grown actor is one of the premier names in film, especially with young adults, not just because of his supreme talent and project selection.
Chalamet has developed his own different and extreme way of marketing his projects, which audiences have responded to. The unique nature of his advertising techniques was made undeniable on the now-iconic promotional tour for Marty Supreme. Instead of the normal talk show circuit, Chalamet did things like releasing a drill-rap music video, comedic skits that people thought were real, and created obsession over and immortalized the famous Marty Supreme jacket. It worked. Marty Supreme, an R-rated movie about a 1950s ping-pong player, made $180 million worldwide. The film is popular distribution/production company A24's highest-grossing movie ever.
There isn't exact certainty on when his next film beyond 2026 will be released, but no matter what it is, audiences will be there.
