So, how did these pants fare on El Camino (a lengthy hike across Spain that goes through rural and urban terrain)? They were perfect, as they provided my legs with the warmth they craved during the cool, early morning walks. I never felt restricted either. These pants and their four-way stretch knit truly do move with you, and they quickly became my favorite pants to wear on the Iberian journey. They also remained relatively dry in the occasionally rainy conditions and didn’t become sweaty, despite all of the walking that went on.
As for when I returned home, these pants were still as comfortable as ever. There’s a reason why REI says they’re best for running and fitness; however, they’ll serve you just as well if you choose to simply lounge around the house in them.
