Kelley Blue Book Awards 2026: Honda Sweeps Non-Luxury Categories
Honda is a company that is known for its reliability, and they now have even more hardware to back it up. Kelley Blue Book announced its Consumer Choice Award winners for 2026, with Honda absolutely dominating its category. The awards are based on Kelley Blue Book's Brand Watch study, which surveys over 12,000 new vehicle shoppers annually.
“This data-driven award sweep demonstrates new-car shoppers’ high opinions of Honda on everything from trust and value to styling, performance, and more," said Vanessa Ton, senior research and market intelligence manager at Cox Automotive.
Honda won its 10th Best Overall Non-Luxury Brand award, earning the recognition for the fifth year in a row. Kelley Blue Book notes its strength across every purchase factor, especially in reliability, safety, value and effeciency. Honda has three vehicles ranked in the top 10 overall, the Accord ranking second, the Civic ranking fourth and the CR-V ranking eighth.
In addition to winning Best Overall, Honda won Most Trusted, Best Value, Best Performance and Best In-Vehicle Experience. Best Value is the companies bread and butter, with them winning the award and impressive 12th year in a row. Honda has half of the cars in the top 10 for best value, with the Civic, Accord, Accord Hybrid, CR-V Hybrid and HR-V all earning spots.
"Value has always been part of Honda’s DNA, and Honda has won this category every year since 2015," said Kelley Blue Book.
All previously mentioned awards, Honda has earned before. The companies real win came in the Best Car Styling category, which the brand has won for the first time ever. The Accord, Civic and Accord Hybrid models made the top 10 list for Best Car Styling. While they didn't make the top ten, Kelley Blue Book also noted that the "rugged good looks" of the Passport and Pilot, and the sleek new Prelude helped Honda earn this recognition.
