How to See ‘The Pitt’ Season 2 Finale Free in Theaters Early

The upcoming Season 2 finale of The Pitt will be shown in theaters nationwide on March 13, three days before the latest season concludes on HBO on March 16.

The latest conclusion of the acclaimed medical drama's second chapter will screen at Alamo Drafthouse locations across the U.S. Admission to the showing is free for healthcare workers, although seats can be booked online with the purchase of a $10 food and drink voucher.

"HBO Max and WBTV invite healthcare workers to celebrate their steadfast dedication to their communities with a Free Victory Screening of the pulse-pounding Season 2 finale of The Pitt," showrunners and Alamo Drafthouse announced in a joint statement. "All those who work at hospitals, clinics, urgent care, hospice, independent home advocates, healthcare professional retirees, and more are encouraged to reserve their seat with the purchase of a $10 food and beverage voucher."

Each season of The Pitt follows the medical crew over one 15-hour shift at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center, with each episode depicting an hour of the shift. The second season, set on July 4, follows a water park accident, an abandoned baby, and injuries sustained in the summer heat. The series was renewed for a third season in January of this year.
