[8 :20 PM ET] — PRE-GAME The 2026 national championship live updates are here. Michigan and UConn tip off at 8:50 PM ET on TBS/TNT/truTV from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. One game, one title, 37 years of waiting for Michigan and a dynasty on the line for Dan Hurley. Refresh this page throughout the night for live scores, highlights and results.

Michigan enters as a 6.5-point favorite and the most dominant team in the country — the Wolverines haven't lost a tournament game by fewer than 10 points. But UConn has Dan Hurley, who is 11-0 against the spread in the Sweet 16 or later, and Tarris Reed Jr., who is averaging 20.8 points and 13 rebounds on 58% shooting in this tournament.

The injury watch is the biggest storyline before tip-off. Yaxel Lendeborg — Michigan's best player and the tournament's best performer — is playing through an ankle and MCL injury suffered Saturday against Arizona. He has said he will be on the floor "no matter what." UConn's Solo Ball is in a walking boot with a foot sprain and is listed as uncertain.

Our pick: Michigan 78, UConn 68.
