0 2

Due to dangerous winds, heavy downpours, and possibly tornadoes, country singer Zach Bryanand his team decided to cancel his Friday concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma, according to Billboard.com.

The local weather warned about large hail, damaging winds, wind damage, hail damage, and a tornado or two. Weather.gov recommends locals to have three ways to get weather updates and have a sheltering plan ready to go. Locals can expect one to fives inches in flooding on Saturday, flooding in low-lying areas and overflow of creeks and streams.

The Message He Received From His Team

“I know you’re gonna hate me for this, but we have no choice but to cancel the show. I just had a meeting with the police, school, and meteorologists and the consensus is that we would be putting people’s safety at risk by trying to put on the show.”

He Apologized Via Social Media

“Fellow Oklahomans” he wrote, “I am being forced by my team to cancel the show tonight due to the threat of extreme and dangerous weather. “I’ve never canceled a show in my life but I unfortunately don’t have a choice in the matter.”

Fans will get refunds for their tickets, he assured them.
