Tiger Woods Facing New Punishment on Top of DUI Charge
Tiger Woods isn't just facing a DUI charge related to his rollover car crash in Florida last Friday. He's also been issued a citation.
Woods, 50, was cited for careless driving in Martin County, according to TMZ. The ticket was filed on Thursday.

The careless driving ticket is a non-criminal traffic violation and carries a fine of $163, TMZ reported.
This week, Woods pleaded not guilty to DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a urine test, both misdemeanors, and waived his scheduled April 23 arraignment hearing. He is due back in court May 5.
Woods blamed the crash on looking down at his phone and attempting to change the radio station in his SUV. The 15-time major champion blew a 0.00 on a breathalyzer, but appeared under the influence and failed sobriety tests at the scene.
Woods also admitted to officers that he had taken his prescription medicine earlier in the day, and two loose hydrocodone pills were found in his pockets when police searched them.
Woods to step away, seek treatment
On Wednesday, Woods released a statement on social media saying he was stepping away from golf "for a period to time" to enter a treatment program and prioritize his health.
“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health,” Woods said. “This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.
“I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”
