According to TMZ, Taylor was allegedly "hot under the collar as he came tearing off his property into the street, as Alan and his kids were riding their motorcycles." TMZ further alleged: "Ronnie tried blocking Alan in the middle of the street, but the Reacher star wasn't having it -- he laid down his bike and shoved Ronnie to the ground."
Alan Ritchson Posted a Cryptic Napoleon Quote to His Instagram Page After the Incident
Ritchson posted a Napoleon Bonaparte quote to his Instagram page after the incident. "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake," it reads. However, he has not made further comment.
Brentwood, TN, where the incident occurred on March 22, is located south of Nashville.
"Are you kidding me, dude?" Ritchson says in one of the videos. According to USA Today, one video allegedly "shows a man in a blue shirt appear to purposely step in front of Ritchson on a motorcycle in the middle of a residential street, causing him to crash."
According to The Los Angeles Times, Taylor "accused the actor of speeding on his Kawasaki motorbike through the affluent suburb, revving his engine and 'disturbing the peace.'”
As anyone who has watched the Reacher series knows, Ritchson is an imposing figure. He stands 6 feet 3 inches tall. A source told The Times that Ritchson did not begin the incident, alleging that Taylor "had pushed Ritchson off his bike twice and ran into the street in an attempt to stop the actor’s bike in a 'really aggressive manner.'"
