'Reacher' Star Alan Ritchson's Body Cam Footage of Neighbor Fight Drops Online—Watch What Happened

0 2

New footage has emerged after Reacher star Alan Ritchson allegedly got into a violent confrontation with one of his neighbors.

Earlier this week, TMZ published video from a nearby video doorbell claiming to show the actor repeatedly striking another man, who was doubled over on the ground. Following the incident, Ritchson eventually gets back on his motorcycle and drives off, along with two children who appeared to see the whole thing go down.

Police in Brentwood, Tennessee are investigating, though no arrests have been made.

Now, video which appears to come from Ritchson’s own body camera has made its way online, giving everyone a look at what seemingly lead up to the fight.

What the New Footage Shows

Though it’s unclear who posted the original video online—as Ritchson himself hasn’t on any of his official accounts—footage that was re-shared by TMZ on Tuesday morning provides new insight into an alleged incident between the actor and his neighbor, a man who has since identified himself as Ronnie Taylor.

The clip, which was uploaded with background music, starts with a a man—believed to be Ritchson—on a green motorcycle driving through a neighborhood at speeds around 22 MPH. Then, another man, Taylor, steps into the road directly in front of him, blocking the way.

“Are you f--king kidding me?” Ritchson exclaims. At one point, Ritchson appears to push Taylor to the ground.

As the two continue to go at it in the footage—some of the audio is hard to make out, due to the music—Taylor accuses Ritchson of driving around a kid-filled neighborhood like a “f--king lunatic.” Ritchson then asks whether the man has been drinking, the says he should have run the other man over as he walks back to his bike. As Taylor continues to shout, the actor revs his bike and Taylor refuses to get out of the road.

After Ritchson's bike goes to the ground, he then hits Taylor, telling him to “Stay down.” Sources close to the actor told TMZ it was Taylor who was the instigator here, claiming he pushed Ritchson off his bike twice before the Reacher star got physical.

Ritchson eventually drives off on his bike.

Taylor’s Side of the Story

After the original video, above, was shared online Sunday night, the neighbor, Taylor, spoke with TMZ about the incident.

He claimed Ritchson had been driving throughout the neighborhood on his motorcycle at high speeds, saying he first told him to slow down on Saturday.

“Then, on Sunday, when I was cleaning by bike outside my house, he rode past once, twice, and on the second time I walked out in front of him, and I said, ‘You got to stop, someone’s going to get hurt,’” Taylor said.

“Then it escalated quite quickly from there. I did push him because he was coming towards me on his bike,” Taylor added, saying Ritchson approached him again. “I think the second time he got off his bike, and he kicked the crap out of me.”

“He hit me in the back of my head, I went to the ground and covered myself,” Taylor added, saying he felt he had to take “a stand” but doesn’t wish the actor any “ill-will.”

Ritchson himself hasn’t directly commented on the incident yet, though he did take to Instagram on Monday night to share a Napoleon Bonaparte quote. It reads: “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”
