Pro Cornhole Player Without Arms or Legs Accused of Murder

0 0

A 27-year-old man with no legs and no arms, who is purported to be a professional cornhole player, is accused of murder.

FOX 5 in Washington, D.C., reports that Dayton James Webber shot and killed 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells following an argument in La Plata, Maryland. The investigation is still ongoing.

Here's What We Know

FOX 5 reports that Webber allegedly shot and killed Wells as they sat in Webber's Tesla SUV. Following the shooting, the station reports that Webber asked two passengers in the backseat to help him pull Wells out of the SUV, but they refused.

It's reported that the two backseat passengers got out of the Tesla SUV and then called the police. Wells' body was later discovered in the yard of a church in Charlotte Hall, Maryland, about a 25-minute drive from La Plata.

Webber was ultimately located in Charlottesville, Virginia. He's set to be extradited to Maryland, where he faces first-degree murder and second-degree murder charges.

How Did a Quadruple Amputee Shoot Wells?

Therein lies the big mystery.

FOX 5 reports that police have not shared how Webber fatally shot Wells, and police insist the investigation is still ongoing.

At this moment, it's not clear how Webber allegedly pulled the trigger and moved the body out of the Tesla SUV. Webber reportedly underwent quadruple amputation when he was a baby due to a blood infection.

"It's early in the investigation, but there's no evidence to suggest anyone else was involved in the shooting and that he acted alone," said Diane Richardson, Charles County Sheriff's Office, told FOX 5.

Webber, however, has a YouTube channel with more than 200 subscribers, and some of those videos show him shooting guns, climbing a ladder, and playing video games.

The video of him climbing a ladder is from February 2024. He captioned the video, "No Hands No Feet vs 15 foot Ladder Stand!!!! #nolimits#mossyoak#hunting#inspiration#motivation."
