Chuck Norris leaves behind a large family, including two siblings, a wife and ex-wife, and five kids.

He had kids with three different women. Norris, 86, died on March 19, his family announced. They kept his cause of death private, but he died after a sudden medical emergency in Hawaii, where he lived and was still training. Norris was known for his martial arts acumen and starring roles in shows like Walker, Texas Ranger.

“To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family,” part of the family’s statement read, according to ABC 7.

According to Biography.com, Chuck Norris had a difficult childhood.

He has two brothers; Norris was the oldest of three boys. Norris once described himself as “the shy kid who never excelled at anything in school," according to Biography.com.

His father "was an alcoholic who all but disappeared from Norris’s life after his parents divorced," wrote Biography.com. "At the age of 10, Norris moved with his mother and brothers to California. There, he attended North Torrance High School."

According to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, "Norris was born in Ryan, Oklahoma, the son of Wilma and Ray Norris, who was a mechanic, bus driver, and truck driver. Norris’ paternal grandfather and maternal grandmother were of Irish descent, while his paternal grandmother and maternal grandfather were Cherokee Native Americans."

The site continued: "Norris was named after Carlos Berry, his father’s minister. He has two younger brothers, Wieland and Aaron. When Norris was sixteen, his parents divorced, and he later relocated to Prairie Village, Kansas, and then to Torrance, California, with his mother and brothers."

Chuck Norris was married twice. His first was his high school sweetheart, Dianne Holechek.

According to Biography.com, they married in 1958, and he joined the U.S. Air Force the same year, serving in South Korea.

Theirs was a long-term marriage. They didn't divorce until 1988 and had two kids together, sons Mike and Eric, Biography.com reported. Their first child was born in 1962, according to People.

According to People, Mike Norris is also an actor and director; he has three kids. Mike directed Birdie & Bogey, AmeriGeddon and The Crossroads of Hunter Wilde.

"My pops is THE MAN. Love spending time with a legend. Love you dad," Mike wrote in 2017 on his Instagram page. Both sons are described as "stunt performers."

A decade later, Norris married again, this time to a former model and actress named Gena O'Kelly, People reported.

They married in 1998 and had twins Dakota and Danilee together in 2001.

Chuck Norris Also Has a Daughter, Dina

According to People, Norris also had a daughter named Dina with another relationship.

Norris revealed in a book that Dina was the product of a one-night stand in the 1960s.
