Over the last several weeks, a series of social media posts has been spreading widely and offering men the same straightforward checklist of actions to take to transform how they look. The tips focus on a series of ongoing habits to adopt, instead of one-off quick fixes.
A March 2026 X post from @VERITY_HQ that has been viewed more than 1.5 million times, bookmarked more than six thousand times, and liked nearly three thousand times captures the trend perfectly. Most versions start with the advice to get a haircut every two weeks. Then, they include other grooming tips, including brushing your teeth and scrubbing your tongue every morning, using roll-on deodorant instead of antiperspirant, and owning at least 2 perfumes.
The trend also focuses on several lifestyle habit changes. It suggests using the toilet before going out each morning, as well as drinking a cup of water and doing pushups daily. Finally, people are given the style advice to always dress well, regularly buy new sets of boxers, own 5 sets of footwear, and have several polo shirts.

The comment section under that post shows that several people have been engaging with the advice that the checklist of tips provides. One user pointed out what the key factor in the 2-week style reset working is. "What you need most here is consistency."
Several of the commenters noted a practical drawback of the checklist: how much it would cost. One user simply wrote, "With which money?" However, the same person who stressed the need for consistency commented on the perception that the checklist is out of reach. "People think looking good is about wearing an expensive outfit, the best perfumes, or expensive footwear. It is not. It is about showing up every day clean and fresh with what you can afford."
