Dunkin’ Rolls Out New Donut Treat and Special Ring Box for National Proposal Day
If you haven’t heard, March 20 marks National Proposal Day in the United States (yes, it's during March Madness), and Dunkin’ is celebrating the day with a few new offers for customers. And in what may be a shocker to some, during this particular occasion, Dunkin’ isn’t enticing fans with coffee products.
Despite the business making an impression on the coffee world, becoming a main competitor of Starbucks, Dunkin’ is going back to its donut roots this go-around, releasing a brand-new flavor. Additionally, Dunkin’ is offering customers a special promotion that those hoping to actually propose on National Proposal Day or in the near future may want to hear about. So what’s new with Dunkin’?
Dunkin’ Is Debuting New Wedding Cake Munchkins

Starting March 20, Dunkin’ locations are selling the new Wedding Cake Munchkin donut hole treats. The new Munchkins are described by the company as “a glazed blueberry cake donut hole with wedding cake-flavored sprinkles.”
In addition to the new flavor offering, Dunkin’ is also debuting a limited-edition “I Dough” ring box. On March 20 only, guests who buy a “25- or 50-count order of Munchkins will receive a free ‘I Dough’ ring box and Wedding Cake Munchkin. The gift with purchase is only available while supplies last at participating locations.
Dunkin’ Partnered with Vera Wang for a Giveaway
Legendary bridal designer and longtime Dunkin’ fan, Vera Wang, has also partnered with Dunkin’ for a special giveaway. Between March 20 and April 3, Dunkin’ customers who incorporate the “I Dough” ring box in their actual proposals can enter a contest, with the chance to be the one winner to earn “an exclusive bridal experience at Vera Wang’s flagship salon in either New York City or Beverly Hills, CA to select the wedding gown of their dreams.” Here are the rules for the contest, as outlined by Dunkin’:
