Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Is Listening to What Men Want -- And He Just Delivered
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson always finds a way to up his game.
He's proven that in Hollywood, most recently with his deft performance in The Smashing Machine, and as a perennial businessman, who counts the popular tequila brand Teremana, and his clothing line, Project Rock, among the brands he owns. Not to mention, he is one of the driving forces behind his production company, Seven Bucks, a nod to the amount of money he had in his pocket after he was cut from the Canadian Football League in 1995.
One would think Johnson has just about every face covered, but then he upped his game -- again. The 53-year-old star founded the men's care brand, PAPATUI, in 2024. And in just a short time, PAPATUI has become the No. 1-selling men's face care brand at Target and on PAPATUI's website.

On Tuesday, PAPATUI added to its arsenal by introducing the brand's first-ever acne solutions, "which are designed to address men's thicker, oilier skin, with proven acne activities and skin-soothing ingredients."
The products include an acne-fighting facial cleanser, pimple patches to absorb impurities, and an acne-fighting body spray for hard-to-reach places. The new products are now available nationwide at Target.
"We spend a lot of time listening to what men are actually searching for," Johnson said in a statement. "Acne continues to be the biggest skincare concern for us men. The goal was clear for us: to formulate acne solutions designed specifically for men's skin and build products that deliver performance men can see without overcomplicating routines."
Johnson on Tuesday took to his Instagram account to tout the new products, which were safely (maybe too safely) secured in a giant briefcase.
"As you guys know, it's always about testing and always about getting feedback and information from you," said Johnson, filming from Hawaii. "And you guys have always been amazing, by the way, so thank you so much for all the feedback. But this is crazy -- the No. 1 concern, the No. 1 desire, the No. 1 thing you guys want as our consumers, was acne care. So, we went to work over a year ago, and dermatologist-tested, we have amazing scientists coming out of our PAPATUI lab, who worked on products for years now in terms of their efficacy, the quality of the ingredients, etcetera, as you guys know."
All three of the new PAPATUI acne solution products are priced at $9.99 each.
