The First 'Yellowstone' Spinoff Streams This Week. But There's a Catch
The future of theYellowstone saga is almost here. The adventures of Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) will continue with Marshals, a fantastic new show that captures the heart of its parent series, but also, strikes out as an exciting new procedural that oddly doesn't require a ton of Yellowstone knowledge.
But, unlike some more recent Taylor Sheridan universe shows like Landmanor the Yellowstone prequel 1923, Marshals won't go straight to a standard Paramount+ subscription, at least not at first. So, if you don't have regular network TV, how can you stream Marshals on the day that it debuts? Here's your quick guide to the Marshals release date, and how to watch.
Marshals Will Debut on CBS
On Sunday, March 1, 2026, on CBS, Marshals will drop its first episode, "Piya Wiconi." This means the show will hit network TV, on your local CBS affiliate before it hits streaming. Well, sort of. Marshals will stream on all Paramount+ subscription tiers the following day, Monday, March 2.
So, if you're a cordcutter, and you don't normally watch network TV, what can you do? If you don't want to wait until Monday to watch the premiere of Marshals there is an option.
Marshals Streams on Paramount+ Premium
Most standard Paramount+ accounts are called "Paramount+Essential." This is the $8.99 a month plan, that gives you most of the P+ catalogue. However, that tier doesn't cover Showtime titles, nor does it cover live network TV events, including shows that drop on CBS first.
So, if you want to watch Marshals streaming on Sundays, and not Mondays, you'll need a Paramount+ Premium plan, which is $13.99 a month. That tier lets you watch live TV, which includes Marshals on CBS.
