The LEGO Group is running a limited-time promotional event for Star Wars fans in the United Kingdom, offering free lightsabers in-store on a first come, first served basis.

The offer is currently running exclusively in the U.K, but there's every chance that LEGO will bring the promotion across the Atlantic if there's a wide turnout.

Star Wars and LEGO have been hand-in-hand for decades, teaming up on countless projects over the years. Whether it's Star Wars-inspired minifigures, full-sized LEGO sets of iconic Star Wars ships, or even a beloved video game, the two companies have always profited from each other.

To celebrate their partnership, LEGO is offering a free light saber to the first Star Wars fans that turn up in participating stores from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on March 7 and 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on March 8.

This is hardly the first time LEGO has offered free toys to fans. The company often hosts similar events in the U.K. and U.S. whenever a partnership is proving to be profitable for them—as Star Wars always has been.

The event also celebrates the upcoming release of The Mandalorian & Grogu, which hits theaters across the world on May 22, 2026. The Star Wars universe will also expand with Star Wars: Starfighter next year, a spin-off project starring Ryan Gosling and directed by Deadpool's Shawn Levy.
