Zappos Is Selling One of Clarks' 'Most Comfortable' Boots for Nearly 50% Off

Men’s Journal aims to feature only the best products and services.  If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission.

Why We Love This Deal

If you're getting tired of trudging around in your heavy winter boots, a little spring-focused shopping spree might cheer you up. The good news is that we're already clocking big sales on fairweather footwear that'll serve you well in the upcoming months. Your first stop: Snagging a pair of these handsome and comfortable Clarks boots at Zappos.

The Clarks Wallaston Boot is on sale for $63, a 48% discount from its normal price of $120. This boot is available at that price across two colorways, and three more are on sale from 46% to 47% off with plenty of sizes in stock. This is the best deal for the Wallaston online right now: Although it’s slightly cheaper at JCPenney, sizing is very limited, and the $63 sale price beats what DSW and Macy’s are offering.

What Shoppers Should Know

  • Style: Moc-toe boot
  • Colorways Available: 5, all on sale
  • Sizes Available: 7-13
  • Upper: Suede
  • Footbed: Molded foam
  • Sole: Rubber

The Wallaston is a comfort-first version of Clarks' infamous Wallabee Boot. Like the Wallabee, the Wallaston features a suede upper with a moccasin construction and two-eyelet lacing for a snug fit around the top of your foot. Inside, though, the Wallaston features a molded, cushioned footbed not found in the Wallabee, which gives the Wallaston a comfier ride.

Both shoes are built on top of rubber outsoles, but the Wallabee utilizes natural crepe rubber, while the Wallaston uses plain rubber with a dimpled bottom that evokes the texture of crepe rubber. The Wallabee also comes with an extra set of laces and suede tags on the laces; the Wallason lacks these features. Overall, the Wallaston looks strikingly similar to the Wallabee, but shoppers say it’s a lot more forgiving for your feet.

What Shoppers Are Saying

Shoppers are raving about the way the Wallaston feels—its molded footbed really makes a big difference. One reviewer who has owned multiple pairs of Clarks shoes called it “by far the most comfortable” pair they’ve tried, and another shopper said the Wallaston is “more comfortable to wear than the pricier version” (i.e., the Wallabee boot). They also loved the Wallaston’s classic aesthetic and suede upper. It looks just like the Wallabee, but it’s much better suited to all-day wear.

A name-brand boot for nearly half off? These Wallastons are going to sell fast, and several size/colorway combos are already sold out. Head over to Zappos and claim your pair today before they’re totally gone.
