This NFL Team Was Voted Most Likely to Win 2027 Super Bowl
According to a ranking compiled by TheTopTens, the Los Angeles Rams are the most likely NFL team to win the Super Bowl at the end of the 2026/27 season.
While it's obviously too early to predict with any certainty, the Rams were chosen because of their strong performance last year and their nail-biting NFC Championship final against the Seattle Seahawks.
The Los Angeles Rams Could Repeat History at Super Bowl LXI
The last time the Los Angeles Rams made the Super Bowl, they took home the Lombardi Trophy at their home stadium, SoFi Stadium, in Inglewood, California. In doing so, they became the second NFL team ever to win the Super Bowl in their home stadium, after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won in 2020 at Raymond James Stadium.
Coincidentally, the next Super Bowl is going to be held at SoFi Stadium again. If the Los Angeles Rams win their third Lombardi Trophy in 2027, it will be at their home stadium—making them the first team to ever accomplish this twice.
According to TheTopTens, the Rams are a hesitant "way-too-early favorite" to win Super Bowl LXI due to their unwavering performance in the previous season and quarterback Matthew Stafford winning NFL Most Valuable Player last year.
"LA had an impressive season with Matthew Stafford coming off an MVP season and Puka Nacua being one of the best receivers in the league. Get the special teams fixed and the Rams are right there, honestly," TheTopTens writes.
In second and third place on the list are the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots—the two teams who played in this year's Super Bowl. Given the Seahawks' dominant performance last season and relatively easy victory at Super Bowl LX, it seems very likely they'll be in contention again next year. The Patriots' chances look slimmer, but they have to be given credit for winning the AFC Championship Game last year.
Below the Seahawks and Patriots are the Denver Broncos—who fought the Pats in the AFC Championship last year—and the Buffalo Bills. Again, it's far too early to predict with any real certainty which teams are going to succeed next season, especially since the NFL draft hasn't even happened yet, but these five teams definitely have the strongest chances.
