Bald Caps Have Become a Staple of Pitbull Concerts
The viral sensation of fans turning up to Pitbull concerts wearing bald caps and fake beards has taken the internet by storm over the past few years, with the artist even acknowledging the trend last year:
"Every time I’m at a show, I let them know that when you put on a bald cap, I hope you’re ready to have the time of your lives – it feels deeper than just music [...] I’ve been in the game for 25 years and to see every demographic, everybody [dressing up] at the shows is priceless.” (via Billboard)
The idea for breaking this particular world record game from BBC Radio One host Greg James, and Pitbull seems to have taken the playful joke in his stride. The costumes have become such a viral staple of his shows, and London is the perfect opportunity to capitalize on this internet sensation.
Before appearing at Hyde Park, Pitbull will be holding shows all across the U.S. as the first part of his world tour. He will perform at Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, California between April 24-26, before appearing in Florida, Texas, Arizona, Utah, California, and North & South Carolina prior to his European tour.
Pitbull fans—you know where to be on July 10, 2026.
