When he was 90 years old, Duvall opened up to Peopleabout his marriage. He declared that being married to his wife was the best part of his life.
"Love the most? I don't know if I love any of it, but day to day with my wonderful wife," he told People.
"She takes care of me, and I have good friends, and try to work out and keep in some kind of shape," he continued.
According to People, Luciana is from Argentina. “She used to be enamored and intoxicated with trips to the big city of Buenos Aires with her sisters to stay with her grandmother,” he told the Argentina Independent, according to People.

Robert Duvall Said He Met His Wife Luciana at a Bakery in Argentina
Duvall spoke about meeting his wife in an Esquire interview, and he revealed that he was worried about their age gap.
"I met my wife in Argentina. The flower shop was closed, so I went to the bakery. If the flower shop had been open, I never would've met her," he told Esquire.
"I was a little concerned about being with a much younger woman at first. So I asked Wilford Brimley about it. Wilford is a very sharp guy. He used to be a bodyguard for Howard Hughes," Duvall added. Brimley told him, "Let me tell you something, my friend, the worst thing in the world for an old man is an old woman!"
"You never know how reality is going to coincide with your dreams. You're optimistic, and you go from there," he added.

What of Duvall's past wives Barbara Benjamin, Gail Youngs, and Sharon Brophy?
Youngs played a part in encouraging Duvall to play the famous role of Gus McCrae in Lonesome Dove. "Gail Youngs, Duvall’s former wife and Here & Now host Robin Young’s sister, convinced him to play the role of McCrae instead of Jones’ part of Woodrow F. Call," wrote WBUR-TV. "After reading the book, Duvall ended up telling his agent that he was only interested if he could switch parts."
Of his marriage to Benjamin, Duvall once told People, "Things burn out."
According to that article, Duvall married Benjamin, a model, in 1964, and lived with her and her two kids in New York. Her kids called him "Baba," and they "carpooled, hiked, fished, rode horses and played tennis." They divorced in 1975.
That 2003 article described how Duvall was co-starring with Pedraza "in his new film, Assassination Tango."
A 1993 article in The Virginian Pilotsays that Duvall met his wife Sharon Brophy "when she was a cast member of the 'Tango Argentino' troupe, and she subsequently became his tango teacher. The tango is one of his passions."
In that article, he called the tango "more than just a dance. I practice almost every day. It's a dance you can practice alone, and, sadly, I don't have a partner now." Soon, though, he did again, in Pedraza.
