'Good Will Dunkin' Is the Internet's MVP of Super Bowl Ads
Ben Affleck appeared in a Good Will Hunting-themed Super Bowl spot for Dunkin' Donuts, with many fans calling it the highlight of the commercial broadcast.
The ad imagines an alterate version of Good Will Hunting that was never turned into a feature film, but rather a sitcom - with several '90s sitcom legends (and NFL hero Tom Brady) making brief appearances in the spot.
'Good Will Dunkin' Has Received Positive Reactions Online
As soon as the commercial was shown during NBC's Super Bowl broadcast, the internet was quick to praise its creativity and originality. Sports journalist Michele Tafoya called it "the commercial of the night," while another X user claimed it was "the only good commercial so far."

According to Variety, "Good Will Dunkin" was shot entirely on-set despite the digital de-aging that makes actors Ben Affleck, Tom Brady, Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Jason Alexander, and Ted Danson look younger.
The spot contains countless references to the sitcoms that these actors appeared in, including Friends, Seinfeld, Cheers, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Variety also reports that Dunkin's Super Bowl spot comes with a real-life promotional event: "Dunkin will give away 1.995 million free iced coffees of any size starting Monday, Feb. 9. Guests can redeem the offer using code GOODWILLDUNKIN in the Dunkin’ app," the publication announced.
The spot continues Affleck's ongoing partnership with Dunkin', having appeared in multiple spots for the company over the past few years. Fans may remeber the "DunKings" commercial from 2023, which saw Affleck partner with Jeremy Strong and Casey Affleck in another hilarious musical advertisement.
