Before Super Bowl LX kicks off at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California Sunday night, singer Charlie Puth will get the crowd going with his rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner."

Puth, 34, grew up in New Jersey with the former Brooke Sansone; the two began dating in 2022, were married in 2024 and announced in October 2025 they are expecting their first child.
Brooke Puth has a very active presence on social media. On Instagram, she has over 170,000 followers, regularly sharing updates on her and Charlie's personal lives.
She and Charlie were married in September 2024
Charlie and Brooke Puth tied the knot on Sept. 7, 2024 at his family's home in Montecito, California.
"We chose the Puth family residence because we just knew Montecito would offer the perfect backdrop,” Brooke told Vogue at the time. “I wanted our wedding to marry tradition with modern unconventionality. I wanted each detail to feel relaxed yet perfectly, thoughtfully curated. Serving mini hotdogs on silver platters, for example, was more than just a fun detail. It was a reflection of my love for styles that blend the refined with the playful.”
Later that month, Charlie shared photos of the two from their wedding day on his Instagram, along with a heartfelt message.
"I love you Brooke…I always have, with you I am my very best," he wrote. "I promise I’ll love you everyday in this life, and even more when we move on to our next. Brooke Ashley Sansone, And now you’ll be Brooke Ashley Puth. Thank you for making me the happiest man alive. It has always been you."
Charlie and Brooke will be parents soon
On Oct. 8, 2025, Charlie Puth teased the release of the music video for his song "Changes," hinting that he had a major announcement to make.
"This is the song I wanted you to hear first because it’s a perfect way to bring all of you into the most beautiful, colorful part of my life, which happens to be right now. You will soon know why…" Puth wrote.
When the music video eventually dropped, it featured Puth and his wife announcing her pregnancy.
In an Instagram story shared to her account Sunday evening, Brooke Puth showed off her gameday outfit, writing that "Baby Puth is ready for Super Bowl LX."
Charlie Puth preparing for anthem opportunity for months
Puth, whose new album Whatever's Clever is set to release in late March, recently discussed how he applied for "The Star-Spangled Banner" role at Super Bowl LX.
“I auditioned for it, but I made up my own audition because I’ve always wanted to do it — because I love it musically. It’s the best song. Musically, it’s so special,” Puth told Rolling Stone about the chance to sing the anthem.
In an interview leading up to the game, Puth said he has been rehearsing the song "for months." We're only minutes away from hearing how he does.
