'Grand Theft Auto 6' Fans Should Mark Their Calendars for February 3

Grand Theft Auto 6 is widely seen as not just one of the most anticipated video games of 2026, but one of the most anticipated pieces of entertainment media in history. Since its initial reveal trailer, there has only been one additional trailer. Though we may get some more news very soon, even if we're not quite sure what that might entail.

According to Rockstar Games' parent company, Take-Two Interactive, the company's quarterly earnings call for quarter three of 2026 will take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. In the past, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has dropped information about GTA 6 during the earnings calls.

As for what could be revealed about the game, the answer is unclear. Previously, Take-Two had predicted earnings for GTA 6, as well as explained the need for the game's previous delays. Zelnick has previously reaffirmed the prior release dates of GTA 6 during these earnings calls, but the game ended up getting delayed. We may see the same conversation play out, or we may see Take-Two provide more reassurance that development is going smoothly. Or it could be additional gameplay information. It doesn't seem like anything is off the table.

Some fans are speculating that we may get a third trailer for the game soon. In a Reddit thread by Expensive-Web-8172, the user noticed that the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel's GTA 6 playlist was recently updated. That could be an indication of a new trailer very soon, or it could be nothing.

If we don't get any significant information from the earnings call next week, the most probable time at which new GTA 6 information will be released is around May 26, 2026, which was the previous release date before the most recent delay. Take-Two Interactive will likely have its quarter four earnings call then, and with GTA 6's release currently scheduled for November, more GTA 6 information seems likely then. We could also see a new trailer on the day the game was originally supposed to release.

Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive has not made any official announcements about GTA 6 information at the earnings call, but given the history of the earnings calls, we may at least hear a little bit of new information, either about the game or Take-Two Interactive's expectations for it.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
