This Oscar Nominated Actress Is Joining Season 4 of 'The White Lotus'

We don't know much yet about Season 4 of HBO's smash hit anthology series, The White Lotus. Reportedly, the new season will take place in France — specifically the French Riviera. The resort will reportedly be Château de La Messardière in Saint-Tropez, a repurposed 19th-century palace.

A few cast members have been announced, including Steve Coogan and former Disney star AJ Michalka. Now, a major A-lister is joining the cast of the next season.

Helena Bonham Carter Joins 'The White Lotus' Season 4

Helena Bonham Carter, alongside Chris Messina and Marissa Long, will be among the cast in The White Lotus Season 4, reports Variety. Rumors had been going around about the Fight Clubstar's involvement. Now it's official.

While most known for her film work in pictures like Harry Potter and The King's Speech, The White Lotus won't mark her first time on TV. Early in her career, she appeared on Miami Vice as "Don Johnson's junkie fiancée," per IMDb. More recently, she played Princess Margaret on The Crown, which garnered her two Emmy nominations.

Bonham Carter has also been twice nominated for an Oscar: once for best actress in The Wings of the Dove, and once for best supporting actress in The King's Speech.

On Reddit, White Lotus fans are already hyping up Bonham Carter's involvement. "She'd be so good!" one person wrote. Another posted the GIF of Michael Jackson eating popcorn, adding, "I'm ready!"
