Amazon’s ‘Jury Duty’ Unveils New Trailer & Season 2 Release Date

Amazon has confirmed that Jury Duty will be back for another season in March. The show will follow a similar formula to the debut season, with one unsuspecting victim placed among a cast of actors in an increasingly bizarre scenario.

Officially titled Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, the upcoming season will center around the employees of a fictional hot sauce company as they attend a company trip together.

The official synopsis reads: "[Jury Duty season 2] captures a corporate offsite event at a family-owned hot sauce company from the perspective of Anthony, a recently hired temporary worker. Unbeknownst to Anthony, the entire experience is staged, every colleague around him is performing a role, and each moment – whether in conference rooms or during downtime – has been meticulously orchestrated."

Jury Duty Has Become One of Amazon's Most Popular Original Series

Jury Duty quickly became a smash-hit for Amazon following its release in 2023, with the first season picking up four Emmy nominations, two Golden Globe nominations, and two Critics Choice nominations—including Best Comedy Series, a rare accomplishment for a partly unscripted show.

The first season centered around Ronald, who believed he was taking part in an actual trial by jury but, in actuality, was part of an elaborate scheme with paid actors. Anthony faces the same scenario in Jury Duty's second season, but there are bound to be plenty of twists and turns along the way.

Jury Duty is executive produced by James Marsden (who starred in season one), Lee Eisenberg, Ruben Fleischer, David Bernad, Todd Schulman, and more. Jake Szymansky serves as the series director.
