The arrangement will phase in over the next three years, with some Sony movies coming to Netflix as soon as 2026, but full availability only taking effect in early 2029. The contract between the companies lasts until 2032, unless it is extended before it expires. Observers should note that only Sony's upcoming feature films are involved, not the company's library of classic movies. However, the licensing agreements for some classic Sony movies and TV shows that are already in place will be extended. Additionally, the length of time Sony's movies will remain on Netflix hasn't been confirmed yet.
