After 'Marty Supreme', Kevin O’Leary Eyes A Big Role in a Legendary Franchise

0 1

After captivating moviegoers since December and making its way through awards seasons thanks to star Timothée Chalamet, Marty Supremeseems to be the talk of the town. In the movie, Chalamet portrays the chaotic table tennis player Marty, who is determined to be a champion in his sport, but has a wild ride in his quest. While Chalamet is the standout of the film, he brings this story to fruition with the help of Hollywood legends like Gwyneth Paltrow and Fran Drescher, and Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary, aka Mr. Wonderful. O’Leary stars in Marty Supreme as Milton Rockwell, ironically portraying a polarizing businessman.

Mr. Wonderful enjoyed himself in his feature film debut, and he is now itching to get back on a movie set. And not just any set, but O’Leary has a particular franchise he wants to be a part of, and he believes he knows the perfect role he can play.

Kevin O’Leary Wants to Star in a 'James Bond' Movie

The Associated Press recently caught up with O’Leary, and he offered up his desires for the future of his Hollywood career. He has his eyes set on a forthcoming James Bond film.

Star Wars, Star Trek, Batman, and Superman are easily some of the most iconic franchises in cinematic history, and right up there with them is James Bond. The tuxedo-wearing action hero has survived multiple generations, has been portrayed by some of the biggest names in Hollywood (I tend to be keen on Pierce Brosnan), and continues to be a revenue maker at the box office. So it shouldn’t be that much of a surprise that O’Leary wants to be a part of the franchise’s legacy.

In addition to wanting to star in a James Bond movie, O’Leary also has in mind the perfect role to play. He wants to be the villain, claiming, “Nobody can do it the way I can.” Plus, later in the clip, he professes, “I’ve been dissatisfied ever since the 60s. I want real bad, and I’m the guy.”

Kevin O’Leary Has an Idea on Who Should Be the Next Bond

It looks like O’Leary also has some ideas on who the next Bond actor should be. In the previously mentioned interview, he states, “I want Bond to be a woman this time.” Although he doesn’t name names, his idea is rather intriguing. Along this line of thinking, I can imagine Scarlett Johansson or Charlize Theron in the role.
