The Moab Speed blends elements of hiking shoes and trail running shoes, and it’s designed as a lighter, leaner alternative to the classic Moab. The midsole utilizes FloatPro foam to absorb impact forces for a cushioned ride, and an embedded FlexPlate supports your foot by resisting twisting and lateral motion.
The plate does flex in the forefoot, however, to help the shoe move with your foot from landing to toe-off. Finally, the shoe rides on a lugged Vibram outsole that bites into dirt for reliable grip.
