Another Edition of Classic Franchise Available on Playstation Plus
Playstation Plus subscribers can dig into another edition of Assassin’s Creed in December and January.
That is among the games added to Sony’s subscription service for a limited time.
Read on to learn more about that game and the rest of the new offerings.
Return to the World of the Assassins
Assassin’s Creed has been entertaining gamers since the original game in the series was released in 2007 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows.
It follows the Assassins and the Templars through various eras in history as they battle over the fate of humanity and the future of Earth.
In Assassin’s Creed Mirage (released in 2023), players assume the identity of “a cunning young street thief seeking answers” in an open-world adventure set in the Middle East.
Here's more from Sony:
The PS Plus release includes six hours of extra gameplay, expanding the main character’s story and introducing a new region.

Other Games Also Added
The 13th game in the series, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, is accessible to PlayStation Plus subscribers using either the PS4 or PS5, and it’s not the only game newly available.

Skate Story, Planet Coaster 2 and Lego Horizon Adventures are only available for PS5, while the other games can be played on both systems.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty allows players to assume control of “a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty where demons plague the Three Kingdoms,” while Skate Story charges players with fulfilling a deal with the Devil using a skateboard.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink is a 3D action RPG, and Planet Coaster 2 presents the opportunity to construct the theme parks of their dreams, “combining epic water rides and coasters to delight and thrill” park guests.
Paw Patrol World is a 3D action adventure game, while Paw Patrol: Grand Prix is a multiplayer racing game including Chase, Skye, or Marshall.
People who subscribe to PlayStation Plus Premium also get access to Soulcalibur III, a weapon-based fighting series of games originally released for PlayStation 2.
PlayStation Plus games are added on a monthly basis, with some only accessible for a limited time.
