Anthony Joshua's Girlfriend & Dating History Gets Attention as He Fights Jake Paul
Anthony Joshua is not married, and he does not have a wife. He does have a child; however, he has kept his girlfriend and dating history private.
Fans are curious about Joshua's relationship history as he prepares to fight YouTuber/boxer Jake Paul. According to US Weekly, Joshua has been "linked" to some big stars throughout the years, such as Bella Hadid, Cara Delevingne, and Maya Jama, the host of Love Island Games. He was also "linked" to singer Rita Ora, according to Daily Mail. The only relationship that appears fully confirmed is the one with the mother of his son and that remains a bit of a mystery, too.

Anthony Joshua Has a Child With a Dance Teacher Named Nicole Osbourne, Reports Say
According to US Weekly, Joshua does have a child named Joseph "JJ" Joshua, who was born in 2015 to dance teacher Nicole Osbourne. The state of their relationship is not clear, however, because "he has never actually been photographed in public with the mother of his son," the magazine reported. However, he has spoken publicly about his son several times.
Hello Magazine called Osbourne Joshua's "ex-partner." He told Hello in December 2025 of his son: "I'm sure he knows who Jake is but I don’t really take boxing home. If I'm honest with you, he hasn't spoken about a fight, I haven’t actually spoken to him about a fight. We talk about maths, the purpose of life."
Joshua added: "I talk to him about confidence but I don’t really talk to him about my career and stuff, like, 'Son, let me tell you about the jab I threw today in the gym. I was slipping this.' He'd be like, 'Shut up, Dad.' You know what I’m saying?
Joshua also spoke to GQ in 2018 about his son, saying, "It takes a family to raise a man."
The profile story added, "Joshua’s mother, Yeta, arrives to collect her grandson and JJ – Joshua’s child with dance teacher Nicole Osbourne – is whisked off by Granny."
Joshua told the GQ interviewer that he doesn't want his son to go into boxing. “No,” he said to GQ. “It’s too hard. It’s a dangerous sport. I want my son to be the best man that he can be, but I don’t want him to be compared to me. You’re not going to be a boxing star without going through heaps of pain. Life is not a highlight reel. A career is not a highlight reel. People see the glamour, the winning. Nobody’s interested in the knocks and bruises, the bad eye, the struggle. My son has the bloodline for it, there’s no doubt about that…”
Anthony Joshua Told a Broadcaster, 'I've Had Girlfriends'
Joshua confirmed he's had girlfriends in the past in a 2023 BBC interview. “I’ve had girlfriends,” he told Louis Theroux. “I could meet them in the local supermarket or at the petrol station, anywhere.”
According to BBC, Joshua previously denied implications that he was involved with the wife of a fellow boxer, saying he had never even met the woman in question.
The boxer later tweeted, "@anthonyfjoshua glad all is cleared up and all lies. I got angry like any man would. No truth to it. Good to know. All the best."
Joshua was also allegedly linked "to stunning Moroccan model and influencer Samia Slimani this year."
