Netflix Makes Major Casting Decision About One of Its Biggest Stars
It's been nearly five years since Regé-Jean Page shot to stardom as Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, in season 1 of the Netflix drama series, Bridgerton.
Now, the streaming giant is bringing him back, this time for an erotic thriller series that's still in development.
The Project's Synopsis
According to Variety, the 37-year-old British actor will star in and executive produce Hancock Park, which the outlet says is still in development at Netflix.

"A dangerously charismatic outsider (Page) invades the lives of a seemingly picture-perfect Los Angeles family — when he rents their backyard guest house. But as he dives further into their world, the façade of this elite community begins to crumble, and he exposes the desire, deceit, and obsession that lurks around every corner of one of LA’s most-coveted neighborhoods," so goes the synopsis, via Variety.

Netflix has been in the news as of late following some major moves.

For starters, the streaming giant is losingFriends and The Big Bang Theory in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, South Africa, and Switzerland.
Meanwhile, Netflix will add Sidney Sweeney's star-studded box office flop, Eden, on Dec. 23.
There's also a report that Netflix wants to buy Warner Bros. Discovery.
