4 Surprisingly Low-Calorie Sweet Snacks for Satisfying Cravings in a Calorie Deficit
Calorie deficits and cutting phases can be tough. Your sweet tooth doesn’t disappear just because you’re committed to your goals. Rice cakes topped with fruit and Greek yogurt bowls are fine, but they don’t always satisfy the craving. Luckily, you can still enjoy sweet treats without completely derailing your progress. Blake Sanburg, better known online as The Nutrition Narc, shared a few of his favorites, which can be found at most grocery stores.
Sanburg has said his daily calorie intake while on a cut is around 1,500, so if he can fit these treats into a deficit, you probably can too. Still, these snacks aren’t nearly as calorie-dense or macro-compromising as you might expect. Keep in mind, they are still processed snacks, so moderation matters.
