Costco Just Added a New Snack Variety Pack That Shoppers Are Grabbing Fast

0 13

Costco keeps the snack aisle moving at a pace hard to keep up with, and the newest drop comes from a brand that already has a strong following among ingredient-conscious shoppers. Simple Mills has started rolling out its Sweet Thins Snack Pack Variety Pack, a two-flavor box built for easy snacking, lunch-packing, road-tripping, or anyone who wants something crunchy without heading straight into sugar overload.

The new pack includes individually wrapped portions of two fan-favorite flavors: Honey Cinnamon and Chocolate Brownie. Simple Mills confirmed the rollout schedule directly: Bay Area stores get it first on Nov. 20, followed by the Southeast on Nov. 24, the Midwest on Dec. 29, and the Northwest on Jan. 5. Additional regions will follow as inventory lands.

Why These Snack Packs Stand Out

Simple Mills

Sweet Thins lean heavily into a "cleaner" ingredient list, which is one reason the brand has grown so quickly. Each snack is made with a seed-and-nut-based flour blend (watermelon seed, cashew, sunflower and flax) and sweetened with coconut sugar, keeping the texture crisp without the typical grain-based heaviness. It's the kind of snack that reads simple on the label but still feels like something you'd reach for over more processed options.

I tried both flavors myself and was genuinely impressed. Being the parent of a gluten-intolerant daughter, we've had our share of wheat-free snacks in the pantry. Simple Mills has cracked the code. The Honey Cinnamon version has a warm, lightly sweet snap that's somewhere between a graham cracker and a nostalgic kid's cereal. Bright and sweet without being overly sugary, straddling the space between cookie and cracker. The Chocolate Brownie lands squarely in cocoa-cookie territory with a clean finish and a surprisingly deep chocolate hit. They're perfectly indulgent, easy to crush through, and honestly, you'd never even guess they're gluten-free.

Online, the reaction matches the experience. On Reddit, one gluten-free shopper said the Honey Cinnamon Sweet Thins "reminded me of Teddy Grahams," which feels spot-on—same cozy, nostalgic vibe, just lighter and less sugary. Instagram posts echo that tone, calling the snacks "light and crisp" and a cleaner stand-in for a graham-style bite. It's the kind of social feedback that usually hints a product is about to take off when it hits Costco scale.

What makes this Costco release even more appealing is the portion-controlled format. Sweet Thins typically come in standard bags, which are great at home but not as portable. The snack packs make them easy to stash in a gym bag, desk drawer, glove compartment, or lunch box. It's a small shift that makes them a more practical everyday option.

Costco has a proven track record of turning already-good snacks into full-blown warehouse hits, and this one feels like it has the right mix of buzz, flavor and convenience to take off fast. If you're a Sweet Thins fan, a gluten-free shopper, or just someone who wants a crunchy bite that doesn't feel like a compromise, this new variety pack is an easy add to the cart.
