Why We Love This Deal
Nordstrom Rack’s early Black Friday sale is now up and running, and it’s chock-full of deals on jackets, jeans, and gift ideas for the entire family. While the retailer's outerwear section is certainly worth looking at right now, one of the best deals Men's Journal found was this pair of Lucky Brand jeans. At 60% off, it's a huge score.
Now just $40 at Nordstrom Rack, the Lucky Brand 121 Slim Straight Jeans are, for our money, one of the best deals ahead of Black Friday. Delivering comfort, fit, and style, it’s easy to see how this pair has a 4.7-star rating. This light wash, Point Acre, is the only one getting this particularly special pricing, but lots of others are still on sale for about $10 more.

What Shoppers Should Know
- Color: Light-wash “Point Acre” blue
- Waist Sizes: 30 to 42
- Lengths: 30 to 34
- Cut: Slim Straight
- Fit: True to size
- Materials: 77% cotton, 16% lyocell, 4% elastomultiester, 3% elastane
Nailing the fit between a more tailored slim cut and a roomier straight fit, these jeans offer a modern take with a flattering silhouette that doesn’t feel restrictive. While Lucky's newer models like the athletic 410s and the tighter 110s serve specific purposes, the 121s offer a sort of catch-all fit that'll work for many body types, with a little stretch and some extra room through the hips and thighs.
This pair’s mid-wash rinse features a great weathered look, with subtle fading and whiskering, giving them excellent character. It's the kind of look that pairs just as well with white sneakers as it does with a pair of boots and a hoodie.
Sadly, if you love this pair, you’ll want to stock up, as the brand no longer features them on its site. This could mean eventual discontinuation, but it's unclear. If you miss the boat, we'd recommend The Straight from 7 For All Mankind or even Mavi's Zach fit.

What Buyers Are Saying
This pair has almost all 4- and 5-star ratings (with 80% being the perfect score). One shopper noted these jeans are a definite “winner,” and said that, unlike other pairs, they do not fit oddly, going as far as calling them the “perfect” fit.
With a limited stock and the big sale coming to a close on Nov. 19, these Lucky jeans won’t be around for long. Grab as many pairs as you can before they are gone for good.
