Jannik Sinner crushed it at the Vienna Open, but the cameras seemed more interested in his girlfriend, Laila Hasanovic, at times.
The Austrian television cameras repeatedly panned to Hasanovic, showing her in the stands, sitting next to the Italian tennis star's mother. The focus on Hasanovic by broadcasters upset some fans. Sinner has continued to dominate, defeating Felix Auger-Aliassame at the Paris Masters on November 2, after dispensing with Alexander Zverev at the Vienna Open on October 26.
- According to Krone Sport, the Danish model "finally took a seat next to Sinner's Mama Siglinde Sinner for the finale." The site added that "the 24-year-old has already met her boyfriend’s parents."

Fans shared photos from the broadcast on X, showing Hasanovic's various expressions in the stands in Vienna.
Some fans criticized Hasanovic, but another X user leapt to her defense, writing, "So many haters as if we know them personally leave her alone. Jannik is wise enough to know what he does."

Jannik Sinner Was Previously Coy About His Girlfriend's Identity
Although Hasanovic is now openly supporting Sinner in public, for months, Sinner was coy with the public and media about the identity of his girlfriend.
In September, though, an Italian journalist named Rolando Repossi shared new details with Men’s Journal, confirming that Sinner's girlfriend was Hasanovic.
“They are considered to be in love, serene, and kind: well-liked by everyone in the neighborhood,” he said, in an email interview with Men’s Journal, of how Sinner and Hasanovic are regarded in Monte Carlo, where they have been photographed together.
“The relationship began last spring,” Repossi told Men’s Journal. “Laila and Sinner have the same agent who manages their social media pages, the Italian Alex Meliss, and it is said in their circle that he introduced them.”
Hasanovic was also seen watching Sinner play at the U.S. Open.
Shortly before the U.S. Open commenced, Sinner confirmed to the Italian-language site Corriere Della Sera that he had a girlfriend, but he did not name her at that time. He did tell the publication that he was "in love."
Fans believe that he had Hasanovic's photo on his cell phone during the U.S. Open. Interest in Sinner's love life has escalated due to his historic rivalry with Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz. Sinner has not had many public relationships. However, he previously dated a Russian tennis pro Anna Kalinskaya.
