Emman Atienza's Dad Kim & Mom Felicia Release 1st Statement After Her Heartbreaking Death
Emman Atienza was a social media influencer whose dad, Kim Atienza, is a top television personality and whose mom, Felicia Atienza, is a fitness star.
At only 19, her Instagram page is filled with photos of her enjoying life and posing in bikinis by pools. The day before her death, she posted a compilation video to Instagram, where she had almost 250,000 followers. "This video got restricted on tt???? does this go hard????," the caption reads. She also had a massive TikTok following.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's database reveals that Emman, 19, died on October 22, 2025, in California at her home. Now, her parents have released a heartbreaking statement. How did Emman Atienza die? The cause of death was suicide, by ligature hanging, according to the Medical Examiner.
Now, her parents are speaking out in a first statement after the teen's heartbreaking death.

Emman Atienza's Family Praised Her 'Authenticity' in a Post
The family statement was posted to the Instagram pages of Kim and Felicia Atienza. "It’s with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our daughter and sister, Emman," it read.
"She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives and into the lives of everyone who knew her. Emman had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone," the post says. "To honor Emman’s memory, we hope you carry forward the qualities she lived by: compassion, courage, and a little extra kindness in your everyday life."
The statement was signed, "With love, Kim, Feli, Jose, and Eliana."
A few days before her death, Emman Atienza posted a photo showing a room full of dogs. "This post is dedicated to my childhood and the zoo that raised me????????❤️," she wrote.
Although the family did not release the reasons for Emman's distress, fans wrote tributes on her social media accounts. "To every single person that posted a hate comment or bullied this girl I hope you’re proud of yourselves. I really hope you struggle with the fact that YOU are responsible for this young woman’s death," wrote one person.
"YOU are the reason her family doesn’t get to see her anymore. I hope that fact alone haunts you. When will people LEARN that their words hold weight and are also forms of weapons when you bully people. They say it takes more effort to be mean than it does to be kind. Don’t be the reason someone takes their own life. She was so young. RIP."
Other people noted how happy Emman Atienza looked on social media. "The way I kept wishing my life was like hers, while she was going through something worse than mine. RIP, little angel. ????" wrote another person on her page.
